Porsche 928 – a polarizing vehicle

Built 64,410 times, this Porsche stands out in many ways. Also with regard to the factory installed HiFi system, this was a very special project.

Since Porsche no longer has any spare parts for the speakers buy from Porsche, all the mounts had to be redesigned in the CAD system to provide a suitable fit for the new speakers.

In the doors 25mm neodymium tweeters which were complemented by extra flat 100mm midrange drivers. .

The biggest challenge on the 928 is the 165mm rear woofer as the largest component of the 3-way system,as the cabinet is matched to the fairing contour. Here, too, we managed to fit a particularly flat woofer, so that the original condition remains absolutely unchanged.

The heart of this premium system is a 5-channel DSP amplifier with 400W system power, which was individually adjusted to the vehicle and measured.
